As per sociology, The term ‘network’ refers to the connections or relationships a person has with others. From birth, we’re automatically part of a family network. As we grow, we create social networks through individual efforts, like joining clubs or making friends. Social networks are created by people to achieve certain goals.
From childhood to adulthood, people become part of various networks, such as family, friends, professional groups, or social clubs. A person’s social status (like caste, class, gender, education, and occupation) influences the size and type of networks they form. People with more resources tend to have wider networks, which can help them achieve their goals.
